The Balloon Factory

The Balloon Factory is the story of the competition, early in the twentieth century, to build and fly Britain`s first aeroplane by a group of largely forgotten young men. Frater takes us through the history of flight, in search of some of the most extraordinary pioneers including John William Dunne, Sir George Cayley, gun-toting ex-cowboy.
